Lady of Siem Reap
A face that tells a thousand stories...
This lady was selling fruit on the streets of Siem Reap, Cambodia. I was riding my motorcycle past when I caught a glimpse of her incredible face. I stopped my bike, walked to her, and asked if I could take her photo, fully expecting her to say no. But, she said yes. She didn't smile, just stared at me with those eyes.
I think this is my favorite photo from my entire trip. Street travel portraits are what i'd love to do more of. It is very rewarding to ask someone if you can take their photo, and have them say yes, and then be able to keep that photo and look back on it.
