High Marnham Test Track

Freightliner Class 66, 66547 is seen passing Ollerton Pit Woods near Boughton Junction on the High Marnham Test Track with a new High Output Ballast Cleaner (HOBC). The new HOBC will be commissioned on the test track where a section of third rail has been laid especially for the HOBC’s Commissioning tests. This HOBC is designed to work on the third rail track. Freightliner Class 66, 66953 is way out of sight at the rear of the train.
