Mavora Valley Stars

This is a re-edit of a previous upload and it's from when me and my girlfriend decided to go on a spontaneous camping trip to Mavora Lakes despite the -3C temperatures, fortunately there was plenty of dead wood lying about so we made it our challenge to keep a big fire up as long as possible!

The moon was out until it went below the horizon ~23:00 (which caused the white glow behind the mountains) and the stars were amazingly clear.

This lake and the surrounding woods were used for the filming of Boromir's death and Sam's (almost) drowning as he went out to follow Frodo on his boat in Lord of the Rings so it was pretty cool for us Tolkien nerds to see it!
