Home for sale, be our neighbor!
This is a pretty elaborate house and is quite a hard-luck story. A couple from New York moved to this lot several years ago and lived in a small travel trailer while this was being built. They contracted all the work themselves and did what they could as well. They wound up running out of money and couldn't borrow any more so finally had to walk away from it. They spent almost $500,000 just on dirtwork digging out the side a steep hill that forms the back wall of the house. I haven't seen paperwork on it but was told by another neighbor that it's up for $1.5 million. But - you get me as a (much cheaper) neighbor!
