Es una locomotora fabricada por la empresa Tubize en Bélgica. Esta “Mastodonte”, del Ferrocarril Central de Aragón (FCA), respondía al carácter singular de una compañía que explotaba la línea de Valencia-Alameda a Calatayud por Teruel y, con la apertura del Caminreal, la línea directa a Zaragoza-Delicias. Adquirida para reemplazar a las locomotoras 0-3-0 de viajeros en los trenes más rápidos, fue el último tipo de locomotora no articulada comprada por el FCA. Es la de mayor diámetro de rueda de todas las de la clase "Mastodonte” que han circulado en los ferrocarriles españoles. Su rodaje 2-4-0, las capacitaba para afrontar los duros perfiles de la orografía de la compañía y, al mismo tiempo, gracias al diámetro de sus ruedas podían mantener velocidades elevadas, en la medida en que la vía y el trazado lo permitieran. En RENFE fueron transferidas al Depósito de Tarragona, donde realizaron servicios de viajeros y mercancías.
It is a locomotive manufactured by the company Tubize in Belgium.
