Downtown Arcadia, Louisiana

After Bonnie & Clyde were ambushed near Gibbsland, Arcadis is where their bodies were taken. That funeral home is long gone now and the town tried for years to forget the notoriety. The town was mobbed by gawkers and curiosity seekers. Those old photos of the bodies in the mortuary were taken her in Arcadia.
