Process Wall Lettering Lutherkirche Leipzig
The layout was created using a font made from capital letters that I had produced in a different process.
To put the layout on the wall, the back of the 1:1 printout was rubbed with gravite. Then the layout was placed on the wall.
Then the skeleton of the letterform was rewritten with a hard pencil and traced onto the wall. In the final step, the inscription was written calligraphically with a broad brush, orientated to the proportions of the template.
