Milky Way Rising over Quechee
Category: Single/Stacked (sort of? I'll explain)
STORY:
I had planned a photo down in Quechee, Vermont with the Milky Rising over the gorge, but I was too early and didn't have the energy or motivation to wait 3 hours. I also live about 2 hours away, so I decided to try and capture the Milky Way rising over the bridge. I couldn't believe how much traffic came through at 11:30 pm EST. This was my favorite shot of the light trails crossing the bridge. This is a single frame, but as I was editing the photo in Lightroom I saved multiple edits. I liked the last 5 edits and blended them together in PS to get blend the golden core and the faded bluish night sky. So that's why I added "stacked" as a category even though it's the same still frame.
I think I'll go back in a few months to try and get the shot I had originally planned.
