Edinburgh Zoo, May 2017

I always enjoy a trip to Edinburgh Zoo. Not only is it a good work out being situated on a steep hillside, but there are some wonderful animals to watch and photograph. It's also a great place to try out new cameras and lenses. I tend now to focus on only a few species - the penguins and gelado baboons are without a doubt the most entertaining and the new Sumatran Tiger enclosures are spacious and much better for viewing these magnificent and highly endangered cats.
