Sugared Almonds

Spring has arrived very early in Niseko this year, but I'm not complaining as it means we've started to get some amazing sunsets after a very grey, snowy winter.

I've been exploring down by the rivers and there are so many crazy shapes formed by the snow. For this shot I knew I would have to get into the river, so this really put my Homac boots to the test as the water level was about the same as the top of my boots. There definitely was some standing on tiptoes going on!
