Turtlenecks

When teaching yearbook, I tell kids that there are basically three kinds of pictures:

1. Formal, archival posed pictures

2. Candid, unposed, photojournalistic, capturing action or reaction pictures

and this kind, 3. Scrapbook, informal and fun, yet obviously posed cheesy pictures like this, where the subjects are being big old hams, practically begging you to take their picture.
