Sleeping Bee Stack
Stack of 20 Images....
I shot this with my Pentax K200D using a bellows with a reversed 50mm lens. The Bellows was extended about 3/4 of the way, and the aperture was set to f/11 or so. I finally took John Abbott's advice and used a tripod for a macro shot. In the case of a patient (or asleep) subject, it works wonders! I was able to snap over 40 pictures of this guy -- including a series with minor focal adjustments -- 20 of which contribute to this image. There is a fair amount of artifacting going on here, but considering this is my first stack of more that 4 pictures, and that I did the alignment and focus stack all manually, I think it turned out okay.
