Sometimes I really hate Flickr sharpening.

I am working on different ways to go about editing to have more control. I'm posting this because its similar to where I want to go.. but seems just a little too over processed--to me at least. But his eyes really do look like that minus some subtle dodging in the center.

 

We were going to do some joke "senior portrait" style shots with his bass since I was more concerned with testing how well my cheap slaves fired with the B1600. So please ignore the bass and nose shadows :]
