fold up magnifying glasses - anachronism

Before "cheaters", these folding magnifying glasses did the trick. These are worn around the neck like jewelry. I used to snicker at my mom, and now I am of an age when I certainly find them useful in the drug store!

 

They can be used fold or extended into two sides. in this configuration the are about 2 ¾ inches long.
