Raft Spider Robbed

A juvenile raft spider (Dolomedes fimbriatus) that got robbed of his lunch by two small but crafty ants.

I found her with a freshly caught fly, but when I closed in for the first shots I spooked her and she ran dropped the fly and ran out on one of petals. When she got back, two black ants teamed up for the robbery. One of them harassed the spider by constantly nipping on one of its legs (making it twitch) while the other one made off down the stem of the flower with the loot.
