Which Colour? Pt. 2 - _TNY_8529
In English, this is a pink-barred sallow (Xanthia togata), but in the Swedish and German names, the bar is mentioned as being violet.
I'm not entirely convinced the bar in my specimen here is either pink or violet, but this one stayed nice and still enough for me to be able to snap multiple shots and then stack eight of them into this final image for greater depth of field.
Also, the raindrops below the moth look quite strange without the normal glare, right?
