Perch by Pond - _TNY_5963

Here is a lovely male four-spotted chaser (Libellula quadrimaculata), also known as the four-spotted skimmer, perched on a twig next to my mother-in-law's garden pond outside Härnösand, Sweden.

 

This is a pretty common species and also doesn't have the spectacular cololours of some other species, but I stick it can be really pretty.

Done
