In New Light - _TNY_1524

The Haga Ocean butterfly house has tiny quails walking around freely in the "jungle" where the butterflies reside. They are incredibly cute and I've just learnt that the English name for this species is king quail (Synoicus chinensis) which is a cool name and all, bu a bit surprising given that this is an extra small species - isn't "king" as a moniker reserved for the largest?

Anyways, this blue-baded morpho (Morpho achilles) figured the edge of the large sand bowl where the quails like to take sand baths was a great place to hang out and it led to an opportunity to photograph it in a bit different light.
