In the Red - _TNY_4327
I have photographed clippers (Parthenos sylvia) on several occasions at the Haga Ocean butterfly house before - but this is the most blue ones I've seen so far. Most have looked like this: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/54573340075/
I've seen lists with more than 30 recognised subspecies, so I am not in any way sure about this one, but I think it could be a Parthenos sylvia ssp. apicalis.
The smaller orange butterfly with black edge which chose to move exactly when I took the shot is a female scarlet peacock (Anartia amathea) and the wing with the large eye spot in the background belong to some sort of owl butterfly (Caligo sp.).
