Chequered, Pt. 2 - _TNY_0200

The lime swallowtail (Papilio demoleus), is also (for obvious reasons) known as the chequered swallowtail. This one came flying at the Haga Ocean butterfly house in Solna, Sweden, and landed on a stone beneath the chrysalis cabinet right in front of me.

Since this is a very nice pose I scrambled to set my tripod up for shooting at very low level because I worried that the pesky ants running around there would scare it off. I actually saw ants underneath it while setting the focus, but for some reason they (thankfully) decided against harassing this one and I got my shots.
