As a fitting end to an already spectacular visit to Åva-Stensjödal, I spotted this female ruddy darter (Sympetrum sanguineum) on a low twig as I was almost at where I parked my car. I figured I might have a go as so much else had been coooperative and this one was as well. Starting from the rear, I got closer and lower and actually circled it and cot shots of it almost from the front as well.
