The copper chafer (Prataetia cuprea) larvae can grow and develop in ant hills, but also in heavily decomposed wood. Lately, they have also taken to garden compost bins
The adults are large and not very agile and most of those I found are like this one from the Lida friluftsområde recreation area in Huddinge, Sweden and are munching pollen on cow parsley (Anthriscus sylvestris).
