The Bluest Eyes - _TNY_2139

There are several green species in the Tenthredo genus, but from what I gather, the only one which has a face with this much green is the pale green-Tenthredo (Tenthredo olivacea).

 

I found this particular one in my mother-in-law's greenhouse trying to get out through the windows. When I offered my hand it climbed aboard and as I was walking towards the door, I managed to snap a couple of shots of it before it took off out into the garden.
