Both Sides, Pt. 2 - _TNY_9070
The first and second time I came across this butterfly, I only got to photograph the dorsal side - which made the name "red cracker" (Hamadryas amphinome) feel quite odd. Here, I have managed a shot showing both the ventral and dorsal side of the wings - which makes the name make much more sense.
With this one being so brightly blue, we can also tell it is a female.

For a shot showing just the dorsal side of one, please have a look here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/52160620043/
