Bronze Bullet - _TNY_2398
While hunting for peacock beetles, this has so far been a more common find on the sandbanks next to the Mjällån river. This one also belongs to the ground beetles but is called Bembidion litorale (and has no common English name).
Typically, these have been more chill than the peacocks and more likely to stay still - something which is good as they are just 5-6 mm (~.22") in length. This particular one was however unusually speedy and I was covered in semi-wet sand after having crawled around chasing it to get my shots.
