Blue Emotions, Pt. 2 - _TNY_8135

Another first from the Mjällådalen Nature Reserve, here are a mating pair of Gaurotes virginea longhorn beetles.

 

The species lack a common English name, but various other languages have names referencing the blue colour or the metallic sheen on the elytra.
