Green-Legged Rookie, Pt. 3 - _TNY_2606S2
This is a raft spider (Dolomedes fimbriatus). It is very easy to tell that this is a small juvenile which I found atop this which I found atop this white flower which I for the life of me can't figure out what it is.
The tell is the green legs. Young raft spiders have these green legs and when they turn into adults, the body of it will take on a darker brown and the legs will turn into the same hue - still with that nice white stripe along the side.
As an adult, this is a species which is comfortable around water and will run effortlessly over the surface. Spiderlings like this one can however be found quite far from open water.
