Extra Close, Pt. 3 - _TNY_8313
I'm still learning how to shoot using the Laowa wide angle macro. I haven't made a designated diffuser for it just yet so I'm still using the regular one, but the main thing is how close you have to get. For 1:1 magnification, the subject has to be just 4 mm / .16" in front of the front glass!
This female goldenrod crab spider (Misumena vatia) was not that close, but not far off.
This is taken in front of my neighbour's house and I am loving how you can see the white bricks of the house in the background even though it is a macro shot - definitely a good purchase!
