Red Black and New - _TNY_0356

How about a shot of a pretty species I haven't photographed before? This is a female of one of the red-bodied swallowtails endemic to the Philippines known as Pachliopta atropos (also known as Atrophaneura atropos).

I have previously found and shot the closely related pink rose (Pachliopta kotzebuea) which looks like this: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/53573304916/ and originally thought this one was the same species, but closer inspection of the finished phots revelaed it to be a new species for me.

The flower it is resting on here is a peace lily (Spatiphyllum wallisii).
