Walking on Slackline - _TNY_9927

This blade of grass wasn't the most stable of paths to walk (or climb)) for this male European garden spider (Araneus diadematus) I came across on an August (of 2024) visit to the Näsudden nature reserve by Åkersberga, north of Stockholm, Sweden.

 

He still made it across though and proceeded to keep climb slowly in front of me, offering the possibility of several shots. One of those here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/53954332049/
