Killer on the Snowdrop, Pt. 3 - _TNY_2310S2

Here's an unforunate house fly who got its visit to the snowdrop anemone (Anemone sylvestris) - and life - cut short by a juvenile raft spider (Dolomedes fimbratus).

The snowdrop anemone looks like and is obvioulsy related to the common wood anemone (Anemone nemorosa), but is larger - so the spider isn't as small as it looks if you thought it was on a wood anemone.

This one is a focus stack of two shots for a little extra depth of field.
