The Open Shell - _TNY_5247

This geometrid moth is known as the yellow shell (Camptogramma bilineata).

 

I found it hanging out on the white-painted railing of my mother-in-law's front porch in early August (of 2023).

 

Since it kept still, I was able to get shots both closer in as well as from other angles, but I think this one came out just great with the full wingspan showing.
