Perfume Attraction - _TNY_7990

The common malachite beetle (Malachius bipustulatus) has a really pretty, well, malachite green, colour with some bright red accents. The males have a scent gland on their forehead which is used to attract females who can be seen sniffing the males head until they decide if he is a suitable partner.

I am unsure if this one from Tyresta National Park is a male or a female though.
