Chaser - _TNY_3030

A four-spotted chaser (Libellula quadrimaculata) hanging out at my mother-in-law's garden pond outside Härnösand, Sweden.

 

This is a relatively confident species and in my experience is one of the most likely to not fly away once you get closer. With this particular one being out in the water of the pond - getting closer was impossible though.
