Drying Up XL Edition - _TNY_0308P9

Here is a male red lacewing (Cethosia biblis) trying to dry his wet wings while hangning from the spadix of a peace lily (Spathiphyllum wallislii).

He had gotten his beautiful wings completely soaked on the ground and was unable to fly so when offered a finger, he immediately climbed on and then I left him on the flower here in the sun to dry up.

Part 2 here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/54174534643/

While those two shots are "regular" shots taken using the 50 megapixel camera, the one here is a stitched panorama made from nine exposures which resulted in a whopping 280 megapixel photo which you could zoom in *a lot* on.

I don't think Flickr allow you to see this shot in full *full* resolution though - you probably have to go here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/54195861849/sizes/o/ to see that.
