Reflection Experiment - _TNY_2445
This was a failure for what I wanted to capture, but I still think he is cute so it gets posted anyway.
I have an idea to be able to capture the reflection of a spider in its own eye so I have fashioned a mirror lens in form of a UV-filter with a mirror film on it. The camera can see out through the film, but I'm hoping the spider might see its reflection and being able to capture it.
This male Attulus terebratus jumping spider certainly have the eye size for it, but he was significantly too lively so I couldn't get close enough (nor light it properly).
The mirror film affects the colours a bit which is why this shot is so much cooler than others of the same subjects the same day like here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/52454404893/
