Cute Shovel-Face_TNY_5184

This shot of a Eurasian bee beetle (Trichius fasciatus) in my hand at Åva-Stensjödal in Tyresta National Park, Sweden, was shot with the flash set to too much power, resulting in a very over-exposed shot.

Tweaking and fixing with it in Photoshop and Adobe Camera RAW however resulted in a shot which I am really quite pleased with - especially the eyes came out very nicely here, right?

Looking at the face of this one, I can't help thinking of a duck's bill when I see that snout.
