Subspecies, Pt. 2 - _TNY_3419
On top of all the amazing species of butterflies to choose from when trying to figure out what it is that I have managed to photograph - there is also many species which have several sub-species which can look quite different.
I now think this one from the Haga Ocean butterfly house in Solna on the north side of Stockholm, Sweden, is a male ruby-spotted swallowtail (Papilio anchisiades ssp. idaeus)
