Tiny Photobomber, Pt. 2 - _TNY_5051
Looking at this photo from Åva-Stensjödal in the Tyresta National Park, south of Stockholm, Sweden, you might think this is just a beautifully red male vagrant darter (Sympetrum vulgatum) - but it isn't.
Zoom in and have a close look under the front left wing and you can see a tiny tiny little something that decided to photobomb this shot. I believe this to be some sort of barkfly (Psocoptera sp.), also called booklouse or barklouse.
It sat there for a couple of the shots, but then it took off so the last few of this very chill dragonfly are without it.
