Four New, Pt. 4 - _TNY_6466
Today's four shots are all tropical butterflies from the Haga Ocean butterfly house - and all four are species which I haven't posted photos of before.
Here is one which I dearly would have liked to get a shot of the dorsal side of the wings on - a Amelia's blue-spotted Charaxes (Charaxes ameliae). The upper side of the wings is black with rows of spots in a lovely blue hue.
Alas, this one didn't want to offer up that sight this particular day so hopefully I can come across one again in the future.
