Rescued Tiger - _TNY_0388
I found this male banded orange (Dryadula phaetusa) on the floor at the Haga Ocean butterfly and he wasn't doing too well with wet wings plus some sort of remains of the chrysalis stuck over his neck.
He did crawl up on my finger and after we tried a couple of plants, he settled on this leaf in a bit of sunshine.
This species, which is also called the orange tiger (aren't most tigers orange?) can be found in the wild from Brazil to Mexico.
