Infinity Eyes, Pt. 2 - _TNY_9837
Another shot from the excursion I did in the Nackareservatet nature reserve together with members of the Stockholm Entomological Society.
It was actually my son who spotted this kite-tailed robberfly (Tolmerus atricapillus) on a leaf for me.
I walked around it at a distance to not cast a shadow on it too soon and then slowly closed in. Initially, I got a couple of shots of the right side, but then it did a 270 degree turn and posed like this which was the shot where the eyes got the most in focus.
