Not Over-Exposed - _TNY_1929

I can't stop marvelling over how severely over-exposed shots are possible to rescue in post.

This shot of a male common bluet (Enallagma cyathigerum) on a reed out in lake Vedasjön a little to the south of my house was taken with way to much power on the flash, resulting in a mostly white damsel.

Pulling on the dials in Adobe Camera RAW however resulted in a shot I am very pleased with and those intensely blue eyes look perfect!
