Cousin - _TNY_9679

The, in my experience, most common jumping spider in Sweden is the zebra spider (Salticus scenicus), but this one, while looking quite similar, isn't one of those.

Instead, it is one of the other two Salticus species found in the country, namely the narrow-banded zebra spider (Salticus cingulatus).

This one is about the same size as its more common cousin, but typically has more white hairs on its body so it is white with dark stripes instead of the other way around with S. scenicus.

This curious little guy was walking across a table cloth when I spotted him (or her) and managed a couple of shots.
