September, Pt. 3 - _TNY_8262
I took this really early in the morning (at 03.47) outside my house in early September (of 2020) which is quite fitting. How come it is, you ask?
Well, this is a (male) September thorn (Ennomos erosaria).
Also, seeing the rather large antennae on this one tells us it'a male - though the females are distinctly more seldom seen to begin with, so if you find one, chances are it is going to be a male anyways.
I seem to have processed this one slightly more yellow than it really was - compare it to part 1 here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/51466706335/
Also, part 2 is here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/51507477701/
