Picking Up Pollen - _TNY_7550

This little bee gathering pollen from a ox-eye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare) next to the old miller's cottage at Åva-Stensjödal in Tyresta National Park is a female common green furrow bee (Lasioglossum morio).

 

Normally, I see this species at home as I have a population of them living among the flowers in front of my house, but it was kind of nice to see one in Tyresta as well.
