Another Common or Emperor - _TNY_9349
In English, the Lucilia caesar blow fly is known as the common greenbottle - but in other languages, the "caesar" part is picked up which is why it is a "kejsarguldfluga" in Swedish and "Kaisergoldfliege" in
German - both meaning "emperor gold fly".
Based on known distribution, this one should be L. caesar, but since distribution maps for flies aren't thoroughly researched, it could also be a L. ampullacea - the streakless greenbottle.
The lovely background here is a purple angelica (Angelica gigas).
Part 1 is an entirely different fly in the same place on a different day here: www.flickr.com/photos/tinyturtle/53956535248/
