Copper Mirror, Pt. 2 - _TNY_8157

This beauty was an accidental by-catch when me and my son were looking for peacock beetles in the Mjällådalen nature reserve.

The species is called Bembidion litorale and doesn't have an English common name. The Swedish one is "brokig spegellöpare" which translates into "mottled mirror runner". The running part is obvious with this tiny predator and mottled as well, but the "mirror" part is in reference to the four rectangular markings on the elytra.
