For Scale - _TNY_9133
With all the shots I have posted of closeups on various insects on the inflorescence on the purple angelica (Angelica gigas), I figured it would be nice to post a shot where you can see how large it actually is.
And instead of a banana for scale, I figure it would be more on topic to have European honeybees (Apis mellifera) and common wasps (Vespula vulgaris), right?
And it isn't just the inflorescence which is large, the entire plant grows large - the flower here is about 2 meter / 6'6" above the ground.
