Pollen All Over - _TNY_8347

Right before dinner at my mother-in-law's place in early June, my wife called me out into the garden as she had found something potentially worth shooting.

This something turned out to be this four-banded longhorn beetle (Leptura quadrifasciata) covered in pollen on a great masterwort (Astrantia major).

Since there had been a short rain a little before this, there were also a couple of water drops on top of the beetle which always look nice.
